Brazil native Hoten, is establishing himself as a renowned electronic music producer. Now based in Australia, has a wealth of experience that has brought him to where he is today.
Inspired by classic house sounds from across the 90s and 2000s, Hoten has melded that together with his trademark sound, oozing energy and charisma underpinned by warm groove and soul-infused melodies.
His musical CV speaks for itself with releases on Stereo Productions, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep in Sound and High Tide Records to mention a few. Arguably his most notable release to date was his stellar debut album released this year titled ‘29 Summers’.
The album received critical acclaim in DJ Mag and Mixmag while gaining DJ support across the board from Hot Since 82, Vintage Culture, Eelke Kleijn, Joris Voorn, D-Nox, Nic Fanciulli, Joseph Capriati, Darin Epsilon, Paco Osuna, Nick Muir, Sasha, Cosmic Gate and more. If that wasn’t enough it translated into mass appeal from the dance music world, reaching number two on the overall Beatport chart, plus several number two positions in Beatport's genre charts dominating the Beatport charts for months.
All the more impressive the success of this debut album came on his imprint 43 Degrees Records. Hoten’s musical ability has culminated in him regularly touring across Australia and his homeland Brazil, as well as further afield performing for the most renowned dance music events and brands Resistance (Ultra Australia), Electric Gardens Festival, Knee Deep in Australia, Universo Paralello Festival, Club D-Edge, Days Like This Festival.
The debut album has truly cemented Hoten as a respected producer in Australian house music and arguably worldwide, establishing a passionate fanbase which has seen him play his inimitable headline shows across Australia.
