Rakhi Sengupta by profession is a lecturer of psychology for the past 22yrs, attached to Muralidhar Girls College in kolkata. Other than teaching she is a pranic healer, a practitioner of clinical psychology and integral somatic therapy . She specialises in trauma and grief therapy, where the body is the container of different emotions and her aim is to increase the space of the physical body to hold the emotions so that an individual can decide what to do while facing anything challenging, whatever trauma it may be. She also specializes in non-verbal therapy where the client is healed through sand- play, Clay, Movements, Colours etc. She believes that the journey to healing comes from within & as a therapist she just aids the necessary tools to her clients. Her hobbies include - Reading, Practising Yoga & meditative Yoga, Meeting friends. She believes in living life to its fullest & leaving the rest to the universe!
